Welcome, welcome to Prayer of Mending! Before you dismiss this as just another priesting blog and continue on your merry way to parts unknown, please take a moment to check what this place is all about. I promise not to disappoint.
I have never been good at introductions so I’ll jump right into it. My name is Noveera. That is not my real name of course, but it’ll do. So what makes me more than just a fool on a soapbox?
Meet Shockpaddles, my priest. I’ve played her since TBC and have come to know the ins and outs of being a holy priest quite well. I am not a level-capped, best in slot wearing, uber healing machine yet. However I have healed since level one, and have done extensive research into the way my skills and talents work. In short I know my class, and I know it well.
So enough about me, lets talk about the blog. Having perused many of the better known healing blogs I’ve noticed a lack of basic “how to” information for a fresh priest who’s never healed before. I remember my first days healing were tentative and a little scary.
Having the responsibility for keeping a group of people alive can be daunting, especially without a clear cut idea of what to do. So this blog is my attempt to fill that nitch. Here is what you can expect to find at Prayer of Mending.
- basic info on how priest healing works
- in depth looks at class skills and talents
- tips for leveling builds, and helpful knick nacks
- random things I find entertaining or useful
That’s just a few of the ideas I’ve already planned and is in no way complete. I expect this blog to grow and mature as my priest and my knowledge does and will inevitably shift focus a bit as I progress as a healer.
However my mission will always be to extend a helping hand to those just discovering the wonderful world of priest healing. I plan on keeping a regular posting schedule, so please check back often for new content.
Thanks for stopping by,
Noveera
Welcome and good luck Noveera.
I hope you enjoy the blogging.
